It is specifically stated in the lease that no pets are allowed. If it is breathing an ineligible for a social security number , it will be considered a pet. This regulation is strictly enforced. The Cortland Housing Assistance Council, Inc. also strictly prohibits the boarding of, harboring of and/or visitation of any pet.
If you have any problems within your apartment DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CORRECT THEM YOURSELF!The Cortland Housing Assistance Council, Inc. employs a qualified maintenance person who will perform the work. He is on 24 hour emergency service. Call if your problem is a genuine emergency (no heat, no water, etc.) If your problem is such that it is an inconvenience, simply fill out our maintenance request form. Your problem will be corrected as soon as possible. Normally, your problem will be corrected within 48 hours.
Pomeroy School Apartments is a designated NO SMOKING area in accordance with policies and procedures as adopted by the Cortland Housing Assistance Council, Inc. Smoking is, of course, permitted within one's own apartment, however please be careful and considerate to the other residents in the complex.
Garbage stored in the apartment for a prolonged period of time will not be tolerated. All garbage and trash must be placed in a suitable, substantial, non-leaking container, before being placed in the dumpster. This will help eradicate garbage related odor and stench.
No bicycles or articles shall be deposited, allowed or permitted in the hallways or common areas of the building.
The tenant shall not make or permit to be made, any disturbing noises that will unreasonably interfere with the rights, comforts, or convenience of other tenants.
No water beds will be permitted.
